Being surrounded by three hills gives the estate the name, ‘Trishul’. A big stream runs through the land fed by natural springs. An abundance of wild animals like bison and spotted deer roam through Karadykan Estate. Beautiful peacocks showing off their attractive plumage, while dancing, enhances the beauty of the natural surroundings. The estate houses a 100-year-old,12 feet water wheel which runs by gravity, generating hydro-electric power for coffee pulping. It is undoubtedly the highlight of our coffee works. The staff and families are cared for by providing medical and comfortable housing facilities. The educational needs of the children are also aided by SCE.
